We see kente cloth in America all the time so it is a real treat getting to see first hand where and how it's made. You can even try making it yourself. The weavers work hard and want to sell their wares so be prepared...More

What strikes you most is the warmth of the people and their eagerness to show off their rich history of weaving. A bit of a hike to get there, but worth the trip. Be sure to walk around the village and see more than just...More

This village is absolutely incredible. If you want the real deal kente cloth - you MUST go. I spent two weeks on the Cape Coast, Accra and Kumasi. These prices are the best and you have so many options. Buy everything here!

This wonderful village was a real surprise. Hands on learning experience with terrific tour guides. You get a chance to do hands on weaving and to walk through a cocoa grove. There is also a chance to learn about the famous soap as well. Fun...More
