There is nothing to see, it is completely a over hyped place, you can count the number of houses in this village and full of commercial restaurants all around the village. This is nothing but a over hyped commercial place.

Supposed to be the cleanest village in Asia, it's usually combined in the tour package with the living room bridge. U get some good thali meals and hand made items here. A good clean village.

There is an easily accessible root bridge on the way to the village. It is safe and I have seen kids as well as elderly women navigate the steps to reach it. Kaziranga is not in Meghalaya. You have to go back to Shillong... More

Possible ,we did this in April 2018,first we went to Dawki than proceeded for Mawlynong and by 9 pm returned Shillong,start your journey early in the morning latest by 8 am ,if more early it will be more... More
