Although we have lived in Nottingham for 30 years we never knew about this pretty sheltered walk with picturesque Scotts pines. A flat walk with just a short climbe through Thornton churchyard to the dog friendly Reservoir Inn.

Enjoyed the 2.5 mile walk around the reservoir. The scenery is pleasant and the walk flat and dry. Conveniences are available at the anglers hut.

Nice reservoir with an easy flat path all the way round. Approx 2.5 miles all the way round with nice views and wildlife to add interest. Car park isn’t that big so best to get there early.
