I first visited just after it initially opened and was disappointed to say the least. However, having revisited the Museum I can honestly say that it has changed (for the better) beyond recognition. A visit here is very worth while and enjoyable. You are left...More

Interesting displays of rarely seen military items, there is even a girder from the Twin Towers. Excellent array of various exhibits. Well worth the visit and its free to get in! Payment is required for the car park - but this goes straight back into...More

It took us just over an hour to do the whole museum but it was great. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is lots to see. The museum is from 1914 to today including a small piece of the world trade centre from...More

Free museum. Lots of personal stories and histories from the 20th century conflicts. The Harrier was smaller than expected, but what a great aircraft. Small bottle of water £1.90!

Visited theWar Museum years ago and had mixed feeling then. I have to say that I still do! The whole place feels disconnected and disjointed but I believe that’s how the architect and planners wanted it to be. We still do t get the hodgepodge...More

We visit this museum a lot and it is fantastic. There is always something new to look at and discover and the exhibits are very moving. Our children love to visit here as do we. An excellent museum which is free entry.

A brilliant historical museum that explores both the human consequences of conflict and the bigger ideas behind them really well!
