Imzu was kind enough to give me a solo 3hr tour of Lange on one days short notice. As a teacher, I was interested in seeing anything related to schools, other teachers and students, as well as anything music-related. He adapted the tour to take me into the local preschool where together we led the enthusiastic kids in some rousing renditions of “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.” It was one of the highlights of my week in Capetown and I cannot recommend Imzu enough. Imzu is also doing many other projects designed to uplift his Lange community, which they obviously appreciated as we walked through each neighborhood. He deserves all our support. Thank you, Imzu for all you do. Thank you.

Dear Mzu,
thank you very much for this interesting tour through Langa. The tour was really authentic and inspiring and we recommend it as a ‚must do‘ while you are in Cape Town. We wish you all the best for your upcoming projects. It’s amazing what you‘ve already achieved.

My sister and I did the gospel township tour which is only on Sundays. I’m glad I chose this option. We stayed for only about 45 minutes of the service. But what we did experience was absolutely beautiful. The service was xhausa but the music was amazing. After the service we started the tour of the township and learned some of South Africa’s history. We saw the lower, middle and upper classes. It was very eye opening and definitely and different experience from other parts of Cape Town. I definitely recommend anyone traveling to Cape Town to book this tour and support people doing great things in this community!

We booked (short notice, only 3 days before - thanks for squeezing us in!) a Sunday Gospel tour. Mzu led us through Langa, one of the biggest township in Cape Town. He knows all places and people there and the tour is just a nice walk through streets and buildings, getting to meet Langa people and their way of life. The Gospel tour on Sunday let us experience also about 20 minutes of worship in a Methodist church. Mzu has been very open, clear, explaining to us what are the main challenges of living in a township... and we could actually see with our own eyes how much life can be challenging there. But also how much hope and effort some people put in building opportunities and way out of poverty. There are few chances where we have been asked to freely contribute to some activities or concretely give thanks to families that let us in their houses. This might seem embarrassing if you consider it before being there, but once there, it is understandable and you just feel it's right. Also, part of the tour fee goes to a youth development project. The tour is totally worth, eye-opening and interesting. Thank you Mzu!

This well organized tour was an absolute highlight of my trip in Cape Town. With this tour you step in to the real life of locals, their community and culture. You can go to a museum and learn about the history of Africa, which is a nice and educational activity. But this tour is today's reality, it's here and now. It's educational, impactful and also heartwarming. And for me that's what made such big impact.

The most eye opening morning with our tour guide Imzu. He went above and beyond to make our experience special. His inside knowledge of the Township we walked around (Langa) was invaluable as he made the locals embrace us as one of their own. Highly recommend!

Excellent 3 h walk through the township of LANGA; we were a small group of 5; met lots of inhabitants; the guide IMZU was very engaged, answered ALL our questions and explained a lot. Wrote & published a book on townships. Knows what he is talking about because he lives in LANGA. The tour is worth its price especially when you consider that a great part of the money goes to the community of LANGA to make life better there. We added a donation. If you want to get an insight into the immense problems caused by the apartheid politics: don’t miss this walking tour.
We booked it at the TOURIST INFORMATION in the CITY HALL of Cape Town. They have an excellent service there, we were assisted by a kind young lady called Chuma.

I had an inspiring morning with Mzu. I loved visiting the Langa Methodist Church and listening to the beautiful choir and congregation sing and pay worship. A dream for me.

Afterwards Mzu gave me an eye-opening tour of the Langa Township. Mzu is a Social Entrepreneur, and his goal is to develop learning space for young people to study without disturbance and develop their talents. Mzu opens up the world to his Township and has a practical vision to create change for the better, but he needs all our support.
