My husband and I used this service for a wine tour in Stellenbosch/Constantia. The communication with the owner was very easy and smooth, and our driver, Roger, was lovely. We also found the price to be very reasonable. We chose our own wineries, but I understand they also can do that for you if you want to make it easy.
We also used the service for our airport transfer from the Cellars-Hohenhort, which was, again, a great experience.
WE hope to make it back to Cape Town, and if we do, we will definitely be contacting this company for tours.

We were referred to Escape to the Cape from the owner of the guesthouse we were staying at in Newlands.
From the initial communication with the Shaheed to the actual tour with Roger, everything was professional and timely.
We opted for a peninsula tour to visit Cape of Good Hope and Boulder’s Beach for the penguins.
Roger was our guide and picked us up on time at our guest house. The van was roomy and clean and bonus points for having USB ports for charging! Roger spoke perfect English, so we had no problem understanding him. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took pictures of us and talked with us and engaged with our kids.
I’d highly recommend this company and maybe you’ll get Roger as a guide.

This is the 2nd time my family and I have used ETTC. They never disappoint. They're always on-time, hospitable, affordable and the vans are clean and comfortable. Shaheed's communication is wonderful beforehand despite the timedifferences. It's good to have a company you trust when traveling abroad. They were also amenable to an unpredictable schedule change. Clive was an awesome driver. I highly recommend this company if you're considering tours or need basic transfers or transportation services while in South Africa!

We went on two tours, a day trip and a winery/brewery tour. Both days were amazing! What made the days so special was Roger. He was so informative and we learned so much just while driving around. But he also took the time to find out about us so he could bring us places he thought we would enjoy. By the end, I thought of him as a lovely friend I had made. Definitely would recommend to everyone and especially request Roger.

We had the most amazing time in South Africa! We were there for our honeymoon and our guide/friend Roger made our time even more memorable! He was thoughtful in all the activities he had planned for us and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish! We can thank everyone who made our time in South Africa a great experience! Thanks and we will definitely see you soon!

It was a girls trip to Cape Town (Mum and Daughter). I have been to Cape Town before but my daughter (Sarah) was too young to remember and that trip was simply awesome. We had a terrific team of EscapetotheCape who were more like family members rather than guides. Their warmth and care and detailed description of the places we visited were irreproachable and professional. The trust and safetiness in their attitude is simply beyond imagination. We have been blessed to (re)discover this beautiful place and are only eager to plan our next trip with the whole family this time to bring peace and happiness in our hearts. Will again contact Shaheed and his dream team!

We LOVED Roger, our Escape to the Cape driver!!! Working with this company was outstanding they arranged everything we asked for and then some. Roger was so knowledgeable, nice and great fun. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! My sister and I had a trip of a lifetime. Thank you 😊 💓.

Our family traveled to South Africa from three different continents to meet in the fourth continent - Africa. Everyone had questions and worries about itineraries, safety, food, locations, and so on. The Escape to Cape Town team helped us answering all the questions patiently and accurately. At each step, we got a knowledgeable, energetic and family like guide who always made us felt ‘Home away home’. The itinerary was so perfectly planned that we never felt rushed or too light! A wonderful and amazing experience for lifetime! Thanks to ‘Escape to the Cape’ team and I would recommend to all my family and friends!!!

Escape to the Cape’s staff and services are outstanding! My family and I visited Cape Town for almost 2 weeks in July to August 2023. We enthusiastically recommend them.
They were timely in their communication, thoughtful in their suggestions for activities given the time of year and ages of our children( 7 and 9 y/o), and fairly priced.
Our tour operator was friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and overall delightful. He even engaged our children by giving them age-appropriate “homework” questions that pertained to the activities for the day.
We highly recommend Escape to the Cape!
