Booking was not possible, as both numbers mentioned in a travel guide were not working. After a very bumpy, dusty and long ride (4-5 hours), a ferry that probably does not operate in the rainy season, almost no public transport, we arrived at the camp....More

I go to the park, specifically the Cheifdom Headquarter Town of Fintonia every month. Fintonia is an hour-long hike from the park-proper. You can see real relationship betwen the forest and the forest-fringe dwellers as you enter. See them preparing their pepper and groundnut fields...More

This is certainly the place to find that wilderness experience. There are some simple, very inexpensive huts provided, with bed and mosquito net. The very helpful staff will provide basic cooking pots, plates etc. Bring all food and drinking water with you. Also beware mosquitoes...More
