Potential for 5 stars. But I noticed the Eucalyptus and Acacia (Australian trees) were all over the place, making the native Laurel and Strawberry trees die! Thus transforming a luxuriant green island in a dry and less lively island (and subject to forest fires). Did...More

The views on the top of Alto do Principe over the islands are spectacular. The trails are well identified and are of low difficulty.

Doesn't take as long as shown on maps and is an easy walk. Well signposted and broad. Views at end are well worth the effort.
