Visited here for some grave research as well as looking at the church. Other reviewers have mentioned the paintings on the wall and the church history, all of which I echo. This is an old, unspoiled peaceful church. I do like the way that it...More

Very interesting church, which relies on people paying for a booklet to read any information. It would be better to have a minimal charge and have laminated descriptions on hand. Then people can purchase a more indepth book if need be.

Try and get to this hamlet to see the church, with a history of Thomas a Beckett. Also wall paintings which are poorly maintained in a very damp church. There is no supervision of visitors, hence the paintings are exposed to damage by camera flashes....More
