Sailed to west bay harbour from Axmouth with 2 other boats on a hot very busy weekend. The harbour guys were amazing, thank you for all your hard work moving boats to get us in. Amazing atmosphere. Will be back again soon.

Visited for a canoe trip at Westbay Canoe. The activity was well worth the trip but probably wouldn't make a special visit otherwise to West Bay.

Now famous because of broadchurch we have been coming here since the 80’s not changed very much. Pebble beach. Crabbing off the harbour and the picturesque cliffs. Traditional fish and chips and donuts and ice creams

Great harbour with cafes and fish and chips. Lovely pebble beach. Excellent craft stalls inside an old warehouse open daily. The children spent hours in the sea. Public toilets are maintained and free. Car park £1 for 2h. Just lovely.

There is a large play area at beside the first car park when entering West Bay on the left. If you are there at the end of August there is an annual 'fare ground amusement' field.
