We took a seven week around the world luxury trip. I did most of the planning but when it came to southern Africa, it is pretty difficult. I can’t remember how I came across African travel consultants and Saidy, But the service has been excellent. It’s quite expensive to do a safari, Saidy Really helped us get the most luxury for the best price, I appreciated his help to work with our own budget.
We based ourselves out of Johannesburg and did a four-day trip to Victoria falls. The hotel was OK but You are really never in your hotel as the trip to vic falls, is one big adventure. We did the sunset cruise twice, the day trip to Chobe, The tour of Victoria falls and The white water rafting trip. All were excellent. We then stayed at Kambaku river sands In the Timbavati reserve for Safari and it was outstanding. Great food great wine, luxurious accommodations, and excellent trackers. The whole 12 days went off without a hitch, thanks much to Saidy Monitoring our progress and Was very responsive. When i picked African travel consultants, I was a little apprehensive at first, Given the Few reviews, but they provided references in the US that checked out and having done now this trip, I would definitely agree with those other guests, This is a top-notch organization.

Max was extremely helpful in organising our trip. The first place we were originally looking to book for the weekend was fully booked and he came back to me promptly with an alternative within my budget range. I really appreciated his responsiveness through out and ensuring that the appropriate information about our stay was sent ahead of time. We booked at Becks Safari Lodge which is just at the edge of the Kruger and had an amazing 5 star experience, from the lodging, exquisite food and amazing game drive experience. Our room was very luxurious and private, and even had small animals grazing on the grass just outside that we could see from the terrace. Our guide and spotter for the game drives were extremely pleasant, and we got to see the big 5 all in weekend, including a magical walk with the cheetahs. The lodge manager Francois was also amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone.

We booked a 14 day honeymoon itinerary with Andy Saidy from African Travel Consultants and what a pleasure it was to deal with someone who had the answers to all our questions. Our trip was flawless and our guides and drivers knew what we wanted. Our lodges and hotels were briefed about our honeymoon and we really appreciate the attention to details which made our trip extra special. I highly recommend African Travel Consultants and please feel free to send all your questions to Andy on WhatsApp, he was always available and very patient.

We (myself and two cousins) visited CapeTown for a family wedding and wanted to do a safari after. The week of the Safari turned out to be Easter, a busy local travel week. Our attempts to find safari accommodations in a private reserve were not working. As we started contacting tour operators, I was able to get in touch with Andy through the Sabi Sands website. The best thing I found is that most tour operators use Whatsapp for communication making it pretty easy. Andy would even respond on days he was off. He made us an itinerary that included Victoria Falls, day trip to Chobe National Park and stay at one of the Sabi Sands lodges. The itinerary included all flights, transfers, stay and local sightseeing. We all felt everything worked like clock work. Most drivers would send a message prior to pickup. The accommodations were very good and food was excellent, especially given some of us preferred vegetarian. One thing we learnt is to go everyday with no specific expectations and take in the experiences as they came. Every morning we would wonder how today could be better than the previous day. At the end of the day we always thought the day was better and looked forward to the next one.

Max and his team, have been incredibly helpful in organizing our trip. We called him very last second two days before we arrived in South Africa and he was quick and efficient to plan our honeymoon safari in such a short time with even a good deal! Something happened, one of the two lodges cancel our reservation because of covid to their staff, and Max quickly organized a B plan, bringing us to Dulini Lodge and covering the rate difference. Thanks to Max we spent a wonderful week Safaring in Sabi Sands within Dulini and Arathusa Lodges. Totally recommended his assistance services.

We (family of 3) traveled to South Africa in October 2022 on a trip of 19 days. As it was a late decision, it was difficult to get accommodations in and around the private reserves in the Greater Kruger. Max helped us build an itinerary by reserving prime lodges within our budget.

We had a taste of everything- from the super luxury suite in Karongwe to the bush camp experience in Thornybush. The accommodations in Klaserie and Sabi Sands were also remarkable.

The wildlife sightings in all areas were fabulous. We sighted the elusive leopards, cheetahs and Rhinos on multiple occasions and just a few feet away from our vehicle. In all, we saw 8 leopard, 10 cheetah, 18 rhino and 60+ lions during different safaris. Not to mention the group of 22 wild dogs in Karongwe. Elephants were seen in huge numbers as well as Cape Buffalos, in almost all safaris. The cheetah and leopard cub experiences were truly mesmerising, as we got to walk upto the former on three occasions while the latter (a cub) walked next to our vehicle to feed on a kill.

Max had also arranged our Cape Town accommodation in the central district close to many attractions and transport facilities.

Thanks Max for making our trip truly memorable.

Max Saidy was incredible in helping us plan our holiday to Kruger. He found options for us within our budget that catered for the needs of the entire family.

I hadn't used a travel consultant before, but will do again in the future. Max answered every question we had without any hesitation and made the whole process very easy.

Thank you Max for all your help!

We stayed at Inyati Game Lodge & MalaMala in the Sabi Sand. Although the park was drenched by rain, we had an awesome safari and the planning done by Andy was spot on. All our airport transfers and lodge to lodge transfers were coordinated with army like precision. We already miss all the animals and we plan to return soon.

Our trip to Zimbabwe & Botswana was arranged by Max from ATC, we had a great experience and all our requests and concerns were addressed before we arrived. Our drivers and guides were first class and the accommodation was exactly what we hoped it would be. Thank you Max for your efforts and had work.
