We love to come here for the picnic park as well as the beach, and we bring all house-guests here. The sand is fine and white, and some of it "sings"!

A beach with fine sand and calm waters. Not crowded especially at the end of the beach. There's a parking lot with a pair of outhouses at each end that also functions as your change room. The Friday afternoon we visited, the outhouses were unbearably...More

We went to visit the second swissair memorial site which is located just across this beach area. The drive up the coastal roads were filled with breathtaking views. The beach itself had nice white sand and the water was so beautiful. Didn't spend much time...More

It is a little out of the way, but provides a scenic drive through little fishing coves along the way. Once there, the lack of crowding makes the drive all the more worthwhile. A visit to to Flight 111 memorial across the road is essential...More

We travelled and stayed in Bayswater for a week and the beach is clean and lots of sand. Best of all, it's Dog friendly.

Was surprised to find a beach in Nova Scotia that had deep white sand like the Caribbean. Only reason I rated it 4 is that we happened to go when there was warning of bacteria in the water so we didn't dare dip our toes...More

I have the opportunity to go to this beach all year round. I live 5 minutes from it. It is a nice long beach sandy, with large rocks at each end. Great beach for walking anytime of year, however can be extremely windy, being on...More

Smaller beach, beautiful sand and warmer water. A little out of the way but well worth the detour. Free.

This is a absolutely beautiful beach in a natural setting. We had a great day at the beach until we found out that an ignorant local had blocked in our car and left an ignorant note on our windshield. It seems we who are visiting...More

I spent every summer at this beach growing up. It's not a well-known beach but still pulls in a good crowd during peak season. There is a shallow, warm, fresh water stream that runs across the beach, a great place for little ones to play...More

I think so. Because we did see few people with their dogs at the beach though.
