Surrounded by wild wallabies and emus, Stapylton Campground was a wonderful place to stay, with few other campers at the site, it was like having an acre of land for yourself. Be extremely careful when driving because the wildlife don't understand the road rules.

mt stapylton- leave from mt zero car park. 4.6km return. bit more rugged than other walks. involves creek crossings,climbing over boulders etc. signs led you to the nice flat rock with its lovely natural amphitheater. the track than descends a little to the spectacular taipan...More
