Myself and my daughter Isabel did the PADI Open Water Course at the end of October 2021. We were both a bit nervous at the start. Our instructor Steve was amazing! A brilliant teacher who made us feel safe and was always clear as to what we had to do and how to do it and happy to answer our questions - no matter how stupid they were! Steve was also extremely knowledgeable about the dive sites and was always keen to point out things that we would have missed, which included a very well camouflaged octopus that we were able to do our hovering test above! We couldn't have hoped for a better person to take us on our amazing journey. Steve's also given us a new phrase, both for diving, and life in general - "Train hard. Fight Easy". After completing the Open Water Course we did two dives at Comino, including the P31 wreck. Great experience with Alan who was excellent and made us feel very calm during the dives. Big thanks as well to Mark, Charlayne and Nathalie for organising everything. Emails prior to the trip were always answered quickly. They made everything very straight forward - including transfers and transport to the airport, which was additionally impressive as I only told them about our return trip the night before we needed it! Nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in one of the apartments that the shop rent out. It was clean, spacious and had great views over the bay. Excellent wifi connection and everything you need for a self catering stay. Can't recommend them highly enough! Hopefully we'll be back again soon. Thanks again to the whole team!

A big thank you to the team at St Andrews! As a nervous inexperienced diver diving for the first time in years I was made to feel at ease. Myself and my friend had 3 days of super fun diving visiting 4 very different but equally spectacular dive sites and a good mix shore and boat dives. (Despite the October weather!) Special thanks to Irish Alan/Patrick;) and Mark for providing jokes every min of the day! Thanks you guys hope to see you again soon!

We stayed in nearby Munxar for a month and used St Andrews for the whole time for tanks and weights (we dive independently). They provided a completely seamless service. No matter what time of day we rolled up to pick up/exchange tanks they had more than enough ready to go. Crucially you can park nearby (this is a big thing in Gozo!) - often you can park immediately outside the centre. Really was a breeze, roll up, change your tanks, off you go - usually took three or four minutes even if the shop was busy. We dived Xlendi Bay once so did use the facilities to kit up. Well laid out in terms of wet/dry, toilet on site and plenty of storage while you're off in the water. Friendly bunch and we will be using them again.

Erika was brilliant. Clear instructions, good safety checks and made the inland sea dive a pleasure. Thanks to all the team.

I was initially worried about shore diving on a volcanic landscape since I have leg/back issues and very poor balance, but Mark made it possible for me to do all the sites. If I was struggling, I could drop the tank if I needed to, spare tanks etc were carried/loaded for me and a helping hand extended when I felt that I may topple over. The sites are amazing with clear water, fantastic wrecks and swim throughs. Boat dives are from a large powerful motor so trips to Comino were very comforatble. I was there for the end of the Peak season and start of the High season and it was really busy but well organised with small groups going out to different sites. The vehicles and drives to the waters edge are an experience to be enjoyed. Can't remember laughing so much. The guides are all nationalities and I was amazed that they have a fair few older guides. This is a positive as they are generally more laid back and have many funny stores. Maybe a bit biased as I'm older... The Irish guides were my favourite. Again really good having a laugh after so long in isolation. Already thinking about a return trip !
