Amazing walking trails, stunning scenery but a lot activities, lifts, action etc. are shut down if you're there between peak seasons like I was.

The entire area is nature at its finest from luscious green in the valleys to snow peak mountains way up. The flora and fauna make the visit very tranquil and rewarding. Go up to the Grossglockner. You'll always remember the stunning trip.

We liked the trails, the mountain cabins to have lunch, the spectacular views of the Dolomite mountains, the waterfalls, the forests - just about everything. Lienz is a near perfect holiday place, and Hohe Tauern a great area for mountain lovers like us.
