This church is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It dominates the skyline of old Landshut with a clock tower you can see virtually anywhere in the old centre. A must if you enjoy ecclesiastical architecture.

Visited here with my cousins, who told me it was originally built in the 15th century. Lots of red brick on the outside and a beautiful inside. The main hall was huge and cavernous. There was a small group of women practicing songs at the...More

Even though the church was being reformed, it was still very grandious. Highlights goe to the widely open main hall and huge crucifix. Sadly I couldn't climb to the top of the tower to check out the view

By luck we were visiting Landshut while they were having a festival held every few years to commemorate a historic wedding. The church is beautiful, has large historic stained glass windows and a very impressive tower.

Tallest brick tower in the world according to locals. An amazing feat of engineering. You can also go downstairs to view blueprints of the building and coffins from hundreds of years ago. The woodcarved doors are beautiful

The church itself inside with its high ceiling is impressive. A place to take a silent break. Look around..look up..look at the beautiful organ and just think about the hard work building this or any old church without the machines we have today. It can...More

You can't miss this church. The very high tower is very visible. The church is big, and relatively empty. In Bavaria most churches are baroque style, but this one is the contrary. It is beatiful because It has a simple interior.

This church is such a lovely and memorable centerpoint to the city of Landshut. It boasts gorgeous gothic arches and is beautiful both inside and out. Christmas Eve Mass there is amazing!

I do all my travel by rail and walking. Just walk from Bahnhof south (I always carry a compass) about 1.5 km until you come to the Isar river. There are two bridges over the river here, the one to your right will take you... More
