Pretty little Lock. Benches to sit and watch to boats go by. Close to pathways to the church and Lechlade. Sturdy path from the car park.

Super walk with my elderly parents. Not too far from the car park & once over the weir & lock their was a well placed bench for them to sit & rest & enjoy the boats entering the lock. Lovely place to visit ๐Ÿ˜Š

Found this place unexpectedly, definitely a hidden gem. Well appointed gardens around the lock manned by lock keepers, extremely picturesque, great place for a walk or a picnic.

This is a lovely spot with free parking. You can walk along the Thames in either direction. It's about an hour to Lechlade which is nice to be able to stop, half something to drink then head back. Much nicer to park here rather than...More
