Super walk with my elderly parents. Not too far from the car park & once over the weir & lock their was a well placed bench for them to sit & rest & enjoy the boats entering the lock. Lovely place to visit 😊

Found this place unexpectedly, definitely a hidden gem. Well appointed gardens around the lock manned by lock keepers, extremely picturesque, great place for a walk or a picnic.

Lovely spot to spend a while to relax. Just a short walk from the car park. Worth a visit if you go to tea rooms but wouldn't make the journey just to see the weir.

I love Buscot Weir itself watching the water gushing over the fall, then looking towards the calm pool it cascades into and watching a few kids swimming, so nice to see them outdoors. Even a family of ducks were happy to join in. It is...More

We found Buscot Weir on a 'wild swimming' website. The visitors car park is free and there is a village shop with a nice garden for lunch/ice creams and clean toilets. There is a large grassy area (not massive) to sit and have a picnic...More
