We decided to visit this zoo after reading the reviews.
September is obviously out of tourist season and the zoo was very quiet.
This made the visit very enjoyable as we were able to spend time looking at the animals with out the crowds.
Best zoo I’ve ever been to for sure! Large park, we spent around 3/4 hours there wondering around. So many different animals to see and so well looked after. Their enclosures were large, different types of terrains and contours to suit each animal.
It was quite quiet during our visit at the end of August. It's 18 euros each adult for entry and we spent about 4 to 5 hours there. We arrived after lunch and left just before they closed at 7 pm. We found that after...More
Friendly and informative staff. Lots of animals to see. Given English version of map and feeding times. Feeding times conducted in French which is expected. Play area available if you have children with you. Handling animals sessions as well. I did notice that late on...More
We really enjoyed our visit to this Zoo. Our girls 11 and 9 had a great time and we spent about 5 hours here but could have stayed longer. We had a relaxed walk around as the whole grounds are well kept and well planted....More
The zoo was not very big so it was possible to walk around, there were two routes so you could choose between the two, there were signs to tell you which way to go. The zoo was very clean and the animals looked like they...More
This is a Zoo worth visiting.
Good, large exhibitions for the animals, and plenty of them as well, especially in the feline category.
The price is 17,50 for an adult, which is the same as in Denmark (where we come from) so it was reasonable...More
After lots of WW2 Histrionic Visits, we thought a well deserved treat for our 3 year old was on the agenda. My daughter in law had checked out the reviews on TripAdvisor and we choose Zoo de Jurques. What a good decision, this zoo has...More
Nice zoo worth a visit easy to follow routes, nice mixture of animals loved the mountain goat enclosure, some animals in small enclosures especially the penguins, all animals seemed very well cared for.

We faced the same issue and decided to leave ours back at the cottage. I think you can but would contact them first. France seems to be a lot more relaxed about dogs than here in the uk. You can take them to Mont st Michel and through the gates etc.
It is a great zoo so would recommend it.
