Atmospheric stone church built on top of a Dartmoor Tor. Breathtaking views. 360 degrees. The church is said to be built on the St Michael leyline. We definitely felt some positive energy vibrations as we prayed alone in the evening light. There is no gas...More

We very lucky to attended a Wedding at St Michael's church. It's location gives fantastic views over Dartmoor and whilst it's quite a trek up to the Church itself it's well worth the effort. Car parking with public toilets are located 5 minutes away.
I lived near Dartmoor for 20 years and never made the effort to visit this icon place.
Peaceful, magnificent and definitely worth the climb. Lovely views and the church was open to visit. Calming and restful - beautifully maintained and fascinating history.
