An interesting historical place worth seeing. Be careful - descent into the cave Paradise is very slippery, and climbing upwards requires physical effort, so you need comfortable shoes and, on hot days, water.

There are a lot of stairways to the downside and very nice place. You could feel a bit cold bottom side. The way is not proper for the kids and Olds. There is a Very slipper ground you must be very careful in some places.

First of all you shouldn't go there in July or August because it is too hot and climbing can be very stressful. There are two huge holes seperately and they are very close to each other (only 100 metres). In my opinion you should see...More

The descent to the cave itself is nice, with all the green bushes and trees surrounding you and the colder climate that you experience. The way up again was really a challenge and especially with the warm weather in august. I was litterally gushed in...More

I visited many times to hell and heaven caves. You can go down via stair about 550 steps. There is antic romen empire period church at the end of heaven cave. It long takes about 1 hour from mersin city center.

There are approximately 450 steps, you can reach the church at the 300th step. Some steps are narrow some of them are large or slippery.
