Great walk and so much fun

This is not an usual forest. Among the trees there are plenty of games (using stones, sticks etc) and a treasure hunt. There are picnic tables and you can prebook food. The place is like a fairy tale, kids love it and it is fun for adults too.
We were impressed by their preparation for covid - the tables were disinfected after each usage, so were the games and toys. There was running water and soap to allow all visitors to wash hands.

Un grand merci pour votre mot, c'est vrai que nous faisons beaucoup d'efforts pour lutter contre la COVID, c'est encourageant quand nos visiteurs le remarquent et nous le disent ! Merci encore !

Lovely even without kids

We had a really lovely afternoon. Friends from the region recommended the Forêt when we said we wanted a place to picnic in the forest, but didn’t want to hike. The Forêt is a long path (700 mètres) with games in little side paths, the games are clever and made from natural materials - most but not all for kids. The instructions are in French but there’s a pamphlet in English to explain all the rules. There’s also a treasure hunt for adults that was good fun; at the moment it’s just in French, but they’re working on a translation. The snack shop has local organic wines and beers, as well as munchies. If we’re ever in the region again, we’d order the picnic basket, which is prepared by a local restaurant. All in all, a really pleasant place to spend an afternoon in the forest.
