Nice cave and children enjoyed the dino park
Jun 2017 • Family
My twins are 4.5 year old and could not have climbed the hundreds of steps in order to go into the cave. So my husband and I went into the cave while my parents stayed behind with the children at the dinosaur "zoo." Many reviews here are quite negative of the "zoo" and although there is definitely an element of cheese, my children enjoyed it. There are A LOT of dinosaurs to see, more than I expected, but maybe my expectations were very low considering the reviews here. There were also a bunch of scenes featuring Neanderthals and early man, which captured my children's imagination and is especially relevant to the region, although jumping from dinos to man is a bit off scientifically...There was also a sandbox display at the end where children could dig for bones/clean off a "skeleton."

The cave was nice but not the most stunning I have seen. There was also a playground and a trampoline (my kids did not go on it in the end) which was appreciated.

Amazing cave but the dinosaur park not worth a visit
Aug 2016 • Family
We visited both the dinosaur park and the cave. The dinosaur park was very disappointing but the cave was amazing. Bare in mind that there are over 700 steps to do go around the cave, so could be a big ask for young children's and older people.

Tourist trap
Jun 2016
We Visited the dino park and this was a horrible experience. Dino's are static statues with bad sound effects to make the experience more "believable". Even my 2 year old called the park boring. We bought two tickets for the cave. My 2 year old got scared because of all the steps so i wanted my money back. Ofcourse this was not possible :( so not very Customer friendly.

Dreadful
Aug 2013
Only visited the dinosaur Park not the cave €22 for 2 adults and 2 for year old. Took 20 minutes to go round. The finishes have flaking paint, signs are damaged obviously no investment had taken place since this was first built. Absolute rip off and rubbish.
