This is a village surrounden by a fortress to provide safety back in old days. Now this is a touristic place where you can buy some souvenirs and handmade ornaments. Just take a walk on the streets and feel the old culture of Aegean.

A wonderful day on kayak excursion! Vassilis had also brought nice Greek local food and a very tasty local wine to make our lunch break ☺ and be recharged and full of energy to complete our nice tour.

I think that you will be rushing if you do it that way. I would recommend the car hire so that you can adjust your trip if necessary. Do remember that the roads of Chios are not straight because of the mountain terrain, so... More
