Gone for a walk up to the castle. The view is just breathtaking! You have to visit it. When you get there, you can relax with a drink or snack at a little cafe with chairs outside. You will truly enjoy it, it's simply amazing.

Go early morning or late night for a very special experience alone in the castle. You can climb the walls and get a beautiful view of charming Sesimbra from above. Take the steps/path from the town, some 300 metres height over some 1000 metres run....More

If you are in Sesimbra it’s worth a visit and the The Tap House which is inside is a great place to stop too.

It’s a special thing to walk the old wall and see the city of Sesimbra down below, and the ruins of the castle gives you pause to ponder about how life was back then. The active cemetery for mostly children gives you even more pause....More

Well worth a visit. Interesting local and national history plus an energetic walk. Pity about the expensive and not very friendly cafeteria.

A charming surprise at the the top of a very steep climb directly from Sesimbra town. Fabulous views and simple, informative attraction.
