This museum was only a block from my car rental return site. I think I was most surprised by just how many artifacts they had and and what great condition they were in. The curator was also very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend this...More

Interesting, with a lot of artefacts. You can spend a lot of time here, do not miss the "SS room". It is a bit scary!

Thismuseum is not so big, but you can see there many many weapons and uniforms from II world war. Generally, very interesting and if you like how it was during II WW go there...

This is a not-to-be-missed experience in Svolvær. Loads of items from WWII from the Lofoten islands and beyond. This guy who runs the museum has the craziest collection war memories I've ever seen! The place is completely packed with items (including a painting made by Hitler) and I think a person with interest can spend a long time in here.

Its about 5 max 5 min,walk from the museum. Its very close. Well worth the visit.
