This small castle sits there looking rather interesting but you can't visit it so the grade has to be 'poor'.

The reliable sources for the actual construction date of this manor. The original building was an excellent sighting and defense center both of the village and of the stretch of sea in front of the cliff on which the manor was erected. It was also...More

The castle is not accessable to visitors, so you can only see it from the outside (so it's free), it is after all uninhabited, basically a ruin, but overall a beautiful structure which makes a lovely view when gazing out over the sea. Set on...More

The waves were just beautiful. The view from the wall was amazing. While you can not tour the inside the views were great!

Visit late in the afternoon . Great location to watch the sunset and also view the charming ochre red and yellow painted houses of Camogli .

Really liked this castle. It's situated on a cliff and the surroundings are a great place to hang out.

We took the train over from Rapallo because the roads are an adventure and parking non-existent. But this is worth the trip. Built almost vertically, Many of the building are painted in a faux 3D paint scheme - very interesting effect. Nice little beach with...More

We victims here at sunset after a walk along the harbour in the evening. All was beautiful as the sun goes down behind the fort. Have a meal in town after that. Easy access from the train station

Camogli is one of the most beautiful places in the World except that it is starting to get a bit run down. The local municipality even though quite wealthy doesn't look after the place very well. Never the less it's full of hidden gems and...More
