The old town of Caceres is a wonderful place to feel like at Middle Ages. Full of palaces, beautiful streets, wonderful algibes and great corners to get lost. INCREDIBLE PLACE TO DISCOVER!!

Not huge but very enjoyable just strolling thru the narrow streets with the various museums and old working churches, would advise decent sturdy footwear as the roads/ paths are not smooth and lots of picture taking opportunities.

We enjoyed walking around the old town area. It's a smaller town so you get a nice feel for what it would have been like hundreds of years ago.

Strolling around the narrow street of Caceres old town is a must, from the main square where there are plenty of restaurants and bars you take the stairs with the archway to gain access to the beautiful old town, well preserved and great buildings.

If you have a chance to go, it's worth it! I wish I had more time to really see all the places when I was there. Each palace and building with its own story. Beautiful buildings, gardens and churches. Highly recommend.
