The city bahn is a road train which takes you around the major attractions in the city. The city bahn departs every hour from the constitution square and takes you to the casino followed by a trip along the famous Lichtentaler allee, then on to the Merkurebergbahn lower stop where you pass by the ruins of the Roman baths along the way. The brilliant white road train is unique and an attraction in itself. You can get off at any of the stops if you are interested in exploring them further. Definitely worth a try especially for first timers.

Public transport is difficult in this city. The station is a log way away from everything and you will need a taxi or a bus ride to get anywhere. The bus drivers were very unhelpful and the ladies in the tourist office not much better. If you don't speak German and don't have a lot of money best avoid going to Baden Baden.
