Gråsten Palace has beautiful, well-kept gardens, and being an active royal residence attracts a degree of cachet. A visit here is very sedate and relaxing, but with no museum or organised attraction it could be accused of being boring. However, that misses the point somewhat....More

Great active castle in the middle of the countryside. Open to public when family not there. Appears to have no security and yet respected by all and left quiet. Seems to be a place of extreme pride in the community. I liked the painted windows...More

The gardens are open to the public when the Queen is not in residence. What a beautiful, relaxing spacious place to visit.

The building is beautiful and the garden was Queen Mother Ingrids pride and joy. Its used as a summer place for the entire Danish royal family to come together with cousins and relatives from abroad. Beautiful place to visit
