It was a fun day with my aupair friends. We've visited the 24th European Medieval Festival held in Fængslet, Horsens. It was an amazing experience for us to see how people live 500 years ago. It will take you to all sides of life of...More

Worth a visit when you are in Horsens. When you visit the prison you can see stories from the staff and also from prisoners.

We never miss this crime book fair. Horsens jail is perfect setting, not a huge fair as at Bella center in Copenhagen, but intimite place where you meet the authors in flesh, and they have time to talk to you and answer most of your...More

The museum is very interactive as they lead us through the various journeys of the inmates. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Horsens but a perfect visit for us in this rainy autumn!

Very interactive museum where you can follow the stories of inmates and staff. An important part of Horsens history. Well worth a visit.

Faengslet was a nice visit. We stayed for 2h almost (incl a stop at the café). The kids liked It and had alot of fun. There were loads of interactive stuff and the museum was in great condition.

We enjoyed a Rammstein concert here with our two sons (12 & 14 years). Took place outdoors. Good sound. had to wait for 60 minutes past the scheduled starting time - supposedly to get the sun to go away before starting the show. Overall logistics...More

I must have found it interesting, because all of the sudden, 5 hours had gone by! I really enjoyed the videos and articles, visiting the cells, the stories behind the people's faces, etc. Plus the staff was very friendly and helpful.
