Perfect for children, beginners and experienced skiers. When I visited the slopes were quiet with very little queues for the lifts.

Just got on the slopes but can say that is a very good and relaxing place to be. No crowded just relaxing and you can enjoy skiing. There is the possibility for rental and lessons, at School Mayer very friendly and professional staff.

One can find over 20 ski resorts in Salzburg within one hour of driving! Saying this, there are some big names such as Saalbach, Zell am See, Kaprun, Flachau and Kitzbühel (in Tyrol) that one tends to go because of hear-saying! So it is no...More

Is about 50 min from salzburg airport. Roads are clean and safe. Also winter time. Maria alm is a small village but hast 2 ski lifts directly conmected. So you can walk there from your hotel. Here is recomended to do the konigstour.

Very nice ski area. We had been here at least 8 times. There are several lifts, nice cottages at the pistes to have a lunch or for apres-ski. My favorite is the Abergalm lift where you get on 1890 m :-)
