A perfect example of a Victorian Park. It could do with a little more work eg. railings and gates around the park, and to keep on top of littering. However these points do not detract from the charm of the park. Whether it's a walk...More

I use the park regularly particularly in the early morning. Despite not many people around at that time the park feels safe. The other regular users tend to be dog owners/walkers and are like a little family. Everyone is friendly even if you don't stop...More

Great lake and lovely fields super for a nice walk. Has a cafe play area and bike hire and the views are good from the top of the big hill.

Ok as a basic park to visit for a short walk or walking dogs. But so much wasted potential being as large as it is it could host events like music events, outdoor plays and sports events. Really needs more plants to as quite sparse....More

great for a walk around the lake although the dog walkers need to be more diligent in cleaning up after their pets. Suffering a bit because of the reduction in park rangers due to the cuts but still a pleasant area to visit.

This place has so much potential, but is a wasted area if you ask me. I only live 5 mins away but I would much rather travel to neighbouring authorities and visit their parks, because they have better facilities, like enclosed dog park, Kids play areas...More

There are quite a few parks around st Helens but Taylor park has to be my favourite. I never get tired of visiting here with my hubby and our whippet who loves it as much as we do. There is a large lake to walk...More

Beautiful well looked after Park. Take my dog Maisie walking round the lake, enjoying the ducks, coots, geese and swans, in and around the water. Today we ventured into the woodland and discovered a beautiful natural lake. Difficult walking conditions so a lot of care...More

Only live just around the corner from the park but dont go as often as I should. Nice lake and fields and a little cafe in the boat house. Great views form the top of the big hill, you can see for miles.

Wheelchair friendly on the path around the lake. The woodland paths vary with some easy and others more challenging. Most of the walkways are tarmac and where there are steps there are slopes near by.
