Good place to take the dog for a walk/swim and some bird watching to be had but the paths could be better maintained, some seating wouldn't go amiss and there's rubbish floating around in the water in some spots. There's an average pub at one...More

Could be so much better with a bit of investment, great for nature walks and walking the dog etc and good fishing grounds but dog fouling not monitored or fines dished out which wrecks it for everyone.

Particularly like early morning walks, you see herons, grebes and if you are lucky, a kingfisher. Have a drink or breakfast at The Waterside after.

A beautiful location for peace and relaxation during difficult times. The staff of the boathouse tearooms were very friendly and also served beer and spirits at a reasonable cost.

Been coming here most of my life, beautiful spot for a little walk and picnic, you extend your walk by going to crank caverns which is only a little further.

There is a Toby Carvery adjacent to the dam, but I don't believe there are any public toilets specifically for the walking trails.
