Good dog walking area, a little marred by the amount of dead fish that seemed to be everywhere. Not an easy place to find if you're not local.

Its a decent walk with a Toby carvery overlooking the water just remember your wellies if you're gonna walk all the way around the dam

quiet, calming and relaxing plenty of walks along the banks of this Dam. Water sports on the dam too, even fishing was observed during our stay.

Good evening walk around the dam - best on a sunny dry day to avoid the mud. Good to have a drink in the nearby pub overlooking the dam afterwards

you can swim at carr mill dam, but not advisable.

There is a Toby Carvery adjacent to the dam, but I don't believe there are any public toilets specifically for the walking trails.
