the Dam is full of ducks ,so is ideal to take grandkids to feed them then feed yourself in the cafe great place to walk around and watch all the fishermen

There is a walk around the dam. There is a lot of litter thrown about and it can be extremely muddy but at least it stretches the legs so to speak. Once seen and walked, highly unlikely you would do it again.

Always muddy somewhere, but a lovely walk. The dog loves it and so do the children. Lots of different routes.

There is a Toby Carvery adjacent to the dam, but I don't believe there are any public toilets specifically for the walking trails.

I would say that the walk that most people tend to take is about 1.5 miles or thereabouts. On a dry day it is well worth taking your time to admire the scenery. I would certainly not advise walking around here after dark... More
