Love the artrix been going for years but last time we booked the 5 star swing band Xmas , worst people we’ve ever seen no atmosphere at all if this was the first thing you saw there you wouldn’t go again .

We booked the Artrix to watch a group we have seen many times elsewhere. The theatre is spacious with decent seating & good clear views of the stage. The bar area is clean & staff were efficient.. Overall, a pleasant evening.
I love the Artrix and attend regularly with different groups of friends as it has something for everyone. It's easy to drive to - they have snacks and drinks (yes, you can take them in too!) and for more substantial fayre there is a pub...More
This was the first time we have visited this theatre, theatre has plenty of free parking, the auditorium is accessible, with plenty of leg room.
Mark Thompson’s spectacular science show was amazing, my children were mesmerised for the whole hour.
There's a roomy entrance with a really good coffee shop, clean and modern loos.
It's a smallish theatre, so a great place to see music bands as you are never far from the stage. And for short people like me the slope is great enough...More
