Went here to visit the house and unfortunately it was closed, this is not the cause for the poor review but instead the hostile attitude of the ticket staff member who moaned and tutted at us. She also then complained about other visitors to us...More

Hidden Gem! Beautiful home which is still lived in by the Brudenell family. Quirky tea room located in the Old Kitchen. Will re-visit during the summer to see the garden at its best!

We visited this park mainly for the Easter Egg Hunt, which was great fun, and included questions and task that kept the whole family entertained. After the Easter Egg Hunt we visited the tea rooms, where they had great cakes. Finally we took a look...More

Lovely estate, nice people, great gardens, lots of us went there to see the snowdrops, we weren't disappointed. The only real let down was that we couldn't get into the tea room, ended up in a pub at Weldon

Burghley House - brilliant, Deene Park - disappointing. It has the most beautiful setting and the building and gardens are sumptuous but ambiguous entry and directional information is consistently given to visitors. I visited with my family last year wishing to see the gardens, grounds...More

I have a fascination for this property as family members formally lived in the villages of Deene and also Deenethorpe. My cousin remembers attending both the now closed village school and also going to Christmas parties held in the hall for estate workers children. We...More

A pleasant walk around a garden full of fairly traditional ideas presented in a very sensitive 'country cottage' kind of way. I enjoyed the lack of a strict formally planted garden. The tea room was a welcome refuge from a torrential rain storm. Two in...More

House and Garden costs 10 pounds or 9 with consession and for children aged 5 to 16, the price is just 5 pounds. If you just want to visit the garden, adults cost 6 and children 3 pounds.
