Nice small animal selection to interest visitors. Rabbits, prairie dogs and meerkats to name a few. Very tidily kept and animals are in good shape. Opening hours are 9am to 5pm, I mention this because some sites list the hours the wrong way round.

This park has it all, a fantastic play area for the kids, ice cream, space for picnic and bbqs, forest walks and a small zoo with small animals but enough to keep the kids interested. Recommend for a day out.

We love visiting Calderglen. Both the animals and the children's park are really good and the staff are always lovely. You just have to make sure you get there early so you can get parked.
