Came here while it was heritage weekend and had a good look round the staff were very knowledgeable and told us a lot of information about what they were doing and showed us in there little museum. Well worth a visit.

Easy to park, the centre resembles a commercial workshop with the exception of a 1/3 scale model of the HMS Venerable. Wow! This and other models and boats are fascinating as is the small "museum" attached. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and skilled...More

I decided to visit the Maritime heritage and was surprised by what i seen a scale model of Jack Crawfords ship HMS Venerables and other projects in progress, all the work carried out by volunteers

We visited Hartlepool for the day and parked at the Maritime Museum, we nipped in for a couple of hours and found it very interesting the exhibits were good and well presented. Entrance was free.
