Spacious and well kept. Look out for events, I was lucky enough to visit on the day the Sunderland Symphony Orchestra were playing in the Bandstand. What a treat and plenty of seating.

A lovely park to wander for a stroll. Plenty of things to look at and still room for a quiet walk along the paths.

Surprised how big the park was, but it was a very pleasant walk and there was a coffee shop to finish off with a refreshing drink. There was also a van selling snacks where we got a cold bottle of water for 50p bargain

Lovely park but dog owners do not keep their dogs on a leash. Idiotic when young children are around. Dogs may be unpredictable but young children may provoke a dog no matter its nature. Without question there is a dog muck problem at the park,...More

Had a look around as our car was in a nearby garage for minor repair, pleasant park, sports facilities, lake, well-used by dog-walkers. Small cafe disappointing, could be made really nice, but no apparent effort made in terms of environment/ambience, shame.
