Some great beaches around Roker and Seaburn. We are lucky enough to live right by the coast. Daughter loves throwing skimmers in sea.

Sunderland sea front has never looked better. I am proud of our sea front. Sunderland sea front has a lot to offer. Great pubs and restaurants.

I live a five minute walk from the beaches and coastal shops/restaurants. I never take them for granted! A beautiful place to walk and enjoy the air.

Nice clean updated and resurfaced promenade. Good cafe at edge of parking area with outdoor tables & covered 'conservatory' space - both, dogs welcome with reasonable prices & tea coffee, breakfast type buns (sausage, bacon, same with fried egg etc.) very popular in all weathers....More

Had a 5-30 walk this morning as the sun came up, bracing and well worth it. Beaches up here are as good as anywhere in the country.

Plenty of Cafes to stop for lunch and coffee. Sailing boats to watch. Lovely walk on a sunny day. Would definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
