Came on a rainy day and really appreciated the variety of exhibitions. Architecture of the building alone is worth seeing and the shop has some wonderful things to look at and purchase. Glass making demonstration was awesome! Brilliant for all ages.

During the tall ship race period, went in for a bite. Had a sandwich and a G&T. The best I ever had. Junper berries enhanced the experience. I did not try any restaurant food.

Great place to take the family - exciting to watch the glass blowers and some lovely souvenirs in the shop. Also go out the back door and sit by the river for a while.

Our first visit and very interesting. At specific times glass blowing can be observed then unique items made there can be purchased at very reasonable prices. Your visit can be topped off with a coffee over looking the river Wear. Plus its free to enter.
