If you want a dirty, down at heel Pub, with sticky carpets, high bar prices, and an unfriendly welcome from the cliquey factions who drink there, then this is the place to go. Otherwise, avoid like the plague.

I go to Monday's quiz night (also one on Thursdays). Great atmosphere in a traditional pub frequented by the locals. Good range of drinks with guest ales and a speciality gin menu. Bar snacks available.

I was here with my neighbours on a Thursday night for the quiz and bingo.I think this pub was a clean, warm and friendly place with reasonably priced drinks. We enjoyed ourselves that much that we will be going to the Thursday quiz night every week.
