We entered with our dog from Roker Beach and walked around the park for 30minutes. There are plenty of little paths to explore, a bandstand, boating lake and smart bowling greens. The park becomes a must see attraction when the illuminations are there in November....More

We came to Sunderland Illuminations a couple of Friday's ago and it was definitely worth the drive from Middlesbrough. Our little girl really enjoyed it, the later it got the busier it got so it's worth getting there as soon as they open.

Queen's parade is on the sea front and has about 10 places where you can eat (although some of these may only open on an evening) With children in mind, I recommend Martino's
