An amazing step back into history! The audio players are a must, even though there is a pamphlet in English with most of the information. I can see where parking could be a problem may have to "circle the block" and walk aways. If you...More

I was bought here with my friend who lives locally and we’d seen it from a distance on a walk. It was amazing, restored about 100 years ago so it was very pristine. We had a private quite who explained the history of this castle...More

An absolute must-see for everyone. Whether for its history or for the view of the castle, its interior, and its sourrounding - definitely worth a visit. The audio-guided tour is very much recommended!

We visited the castle fairly early in the day - the car park was almost empty. There's quite a lot to see (and read in E,D,F) so allow enough time for the visit. There are also guided tours available or audio-guides if preferred (neither is...More

Finding a parking spot is quite a big challenges but at least it is free. The entrance fee is 9€ and if you just simply walk around the castle you can spend hours there.

Worth a visit if you’re nearby. Parking is limited but worth parking at the bottom and walking up through the trail rather than the road. Quiche in the restaurant was exceptional.

By chance, I arrived at the castle at the right time for an hour long guided tour in English which helped me understand who built the castle, when and why the castle was built, destroyed and rebuilt, After the guided tour, I continued on around...More

This is a faithfully restored castle high in the mountains. You can drive up quite close to it with parking on the adjacent roads. We got there fairly early and had no trouble with parking. The castle has been restored to what is believed to...More
