Had a fantastic morning in the park. We rented bikes and rode to the park (about 40min) going through amazing panorama roads. The whole city is bike-friendly, so no problem even for not experienced bikers😉. The park hosts hundreds of animals - reindeer and roe...More

Get a bike and be transported into another world. One that’s peaceful and bucolic. There are herds of deer, peaceful vistas, singing birds, picturesque ponds. Bring your camera.

The park is easy to reach (we took a S-tog train from Østerport on our way from the Little mermaid site) - about 13-15 minutes. You can walk or rent a bike (like we did). The park itself is very picturesque! We brought some food...More

We use this park/forest on a regular basis - both for a place run/bike for exercise but also as a place of pure recreation. There are deers walking freely and though not tame don’t run away immediately. You can also take a horsecarriage (go to...More

How does one actually drive into Jaegerborg Dyrehave since today (was) a Wednesday? I spent a few days trying to search for details of how to drive into the park up to Eremitageslot, in preparation for today (Wednesday). The official park website says that one can do so via the Trepileporten gate. Trouble is this gate is hard to find on both Google Maps and the TomTom I was using. The closest point I found was Trepilevej, but there's no drive-through gate, just practically a dead-end. Left Trepilevej, and found an open red gate further down the main road, only to be chased away by an elderly local who says there's no such rule which allows driving through the park on Wednesdays. I wasn't going to drive through that gate in the first place - I was trying to check out the park's map to find other drive through points. In the end, left the place feeling very disappointed having not found the way to the heart of the park. In case you're wondering, it was raining all of today, and I was travelling with an elderly who can't walk much, thus the need to drive.
