This company cannot be trusted with your money, they will take your money and then probably cancel or defer your trip. It then becomes a painful experience to get a refund (if at all!). They promise an escorted trip but you are left to go on your own! Definitely would not go on a walking holiday with this company.

Very bad experience. Trip was cancelled (by company), rearranged, cancelled. Took ages to get money back, emails from owner full of excuses, threats and blame. Relieved I didn’t travel with them in the end!

My daughter and her friend aged 7 both had a fantastic afternoon, they were shown how to put up a tent, then a storm shelter then things got worse, a survival bag was all they had and then they had make a den. Steve and Jill were really good with the girls, having done all that, we then did a treasure hunt following a map and played a fantastic game of sneaking in to camp and then having to run to the bridge without getting caught. It was the most fantastic fun. They are doing this until the end of October, so put your wellies and trousers on, bring a waterproof jacket and go down.
It was one til five and cost £9.99 per child, adults are free.

My father in law Gareth has recently done 2 trips. Both trips have well organised, and a joy to go on. Takes the hassle out of organising everything your self, and you get to enjoy the views and experience.

Wow
I booked a four day mini break with this company to go to Scotland to climb Ben Nevis.
It was so well organised from the moment we set off to the moment we got back. The campsite we stayed at was perfectly located to climb Ben Nevis and very clean.
Steve our mountain leader was great. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his Partner Jane.
The climb was extremely hard, but I felt totally supported by Steve at all times. I would recommend any one to book with them. You will not regret it. (Although your legs might!)

My 9 year old and her 17 friends had a brilliant day out in the woods pitching tents, making dens, treasure hunting, toasting marshmallows and so much more. Steve is such a great host and organiser who goes above and beyond making sure that children have a wonderful time.
Survival party in the woods is such a great idea for a party for this age group. It's amazing to see how children work in teams, some as leading the group , others coming up with creative ideas for dens and make shift swings. Steve and Jane give full attention to planning various activities in advance to suit the group, put up balloons and even give a present to the birthday child.
Our daughter was very pleased with her party as were all her friends. We will certainly be coming back to Steve for more.

Took 3 children age 5, 7 and 3 to visit millets farm and booked onto the SPR outdoor adventure in Pheobe Wood. It was great fun pitching in to put a tent making a den with sticks and sheeting, running around the camp looking for tokens to complete the treasure hunt and just enjoying the space. The children had a lovely time and the guide adapted the day to suit the ages of the children. Great value for money and three happy very quiet tired children on the homeward journey. Will definitely be back sometime. Thank you
