Ukutula Lodge Lion Walk provided me with a truly unique and unforgettable experience that set the perfect tone for my South Africa trip. Walking alongside majestic lions and witnessing them interact in their natural habitat was awe-inspiring. The knowledgeable guides made the adventure not only thrilling but also educational. Highly recommended for those seeking a one-of-a-kind encounter with nature!

This was awesome to visit the lion walk park. You actually got to pet the lions on their back while they were being fed. You have to pay attention to them and not touch their head. List to the animals trainers, but a awesome experience.

The walk with the lion is done either in the morning or in the afternoon. You are with 2 guides who will direct the young lions. You have few simple rules to follow in order not to become their prey and got eaten ;). This is really an amazing experience and if you have a chance to visit this place and take a walk do it!

We went today - although it is a long day it is well worth it. The guide Yao Yao was brilliant. The ferry ride is an experience but we felt safe. Once at the safari park we got another guide who seemed to know where the animals were. We saw antelope, rhino, family of giraffe, zebra, warthogs and then to top it off we walked with the lions. The guides took pictures with our own cameras and did not want a tip. We booked this because we saw the reviews from the uk - and it is everything they advertise and more. Armstrong got us from our hotel to take us to his office to arrange it and took us back free of charge. He was not pushy. He responded to emails immediately.
All in all a brilliant day - thank you to all your team.

This is just awesome. My wife and I visited on the first day of our holiday but could have stayed here for the whole time.
The 2 keepers who accompanied us led us to the compound which housed about 20 lions all about 2 yrs old.
Three were selected and they came out and walked into the bush with us following close behind. It was so exciting.
There are other things to see and do here and accommodation can be booked which we will do next time.

It started with Dickson Madyara who picked me up at the Airport personally. He was very helpful and welcoming. The lodge itself is a great place to stay. The food is delicious! And how much they care about their lions is heartwarming to watch. It was an incredible experience which I can recommend to everyone else and I really hope that I'll make it back there one day!

We had the best guide and experience on this Walk with Lions tour with Africa Explore Tours & Safaris. Something we will never forget. Thank you to Africa Explore Tours and safaris for taking us on such a short notice and also to be knowledgeable and very informative.
We can recommend them to any group, family or if you are on a business trip to contact them.
