We visited the Lion park with two small kids. It was informative and the kids and adults enjoyed interacting with the cubs.

Maybe for foreigners this might be something to see but for South Africans we are used to these markets and products. Found some of the sellers very pushy. If in the area then ok to walk through but I would’nt go out my way.

I enjoyed the time spent there. They're smaller than what I thought, and don't have a lot of animals. What does make them great is having White Lions and Tigers.

We were there with our 2 children, 11 and 15. The restaurant is extremely out of date with service, menu's and friendliness. It weren't clean at all. It felt almost like a waiting area and not a restaurant. Our tour guide's English were not up to standard. Overall not a good experience.

When we arrived to the lion park we paid and waited for the tour guide to take us on a tour which lasted about 10 minutes. The tour guide was nothing to get excited about, and he had poor people skills! We then went to look at the cubs, and paid a lot to take photos with them by a "professional" photographer. There were 100 phots, but they were all exactly the same and we battled to get 2 good ones to print out! Total let down of an outing.

I went with my sister and her daugther today, when we arrived at the "Lion Park" the lady told me my groupon voucher was expired, huh? That was a shock! I looked at the date again and then saw that it only expires in May, then I told the lady that it is not expiring, she didn't know what today's date was as she asked me what month it was after telling me that my groupon expired???? :-( Then she nicely told us that we could get pictures taken with us and cubs and it will cost so much.. can't even remember the price as it was ridiculous! Then we were asked to sit down and wait, the tourguide will be there shortly. We didn't mind as we were quite early there. We didn't sit long when he arrived and then took us on the "tour". He was very friendly and took us around and shared about the few animals that was there. We enjoyed it and then he took us to the cubs, which my sister's daughter really enjoyed.. Then we sat down to have our hamburgers and chips, that was very delicious and we were satisfied. Thank you for that. We bought a few sweets that was in the little shop. I returned three of the packet of sweets as it was OLD. Unfortunately I will never go here again and will certainly NOT recommend this place to anyone.

We had a good experience with some outside vendors but found the main market to be too pushy. Way too overbearing - and trying to get our kids to like something before setting the prices. Much better to find an adjacent shop and complete many of the purchases there.

Absolutely terrible experience... Greeted by a guide who assumed we are afrikaans, then he assumed since we understand afrikaans it is okay to make racist jokes. At the cub enclosure we were told to sit on the side since the family who joined the tour are paying for the "professional photographer" - which is not a professional photographer at all, by the way. What a sad sad story played out in front of us.. cubs tossing and turning just in an attempt to catch some sleep, with Mr. Pro. Photographer pulling their paws and forcing them to turn around for some "photos". It is unnatural, and against any possible conservation principle out there. Being in the industry, the need for conservation awareness centres and instutions is understandable, but this was 100% milking the already dire situation.
