Monday afternoon our group of 7 was one of only 3 groups at the site, so easy to explore and take great photos. Bargain hard if you want something from the many vendors selling the same souvenirs.

The actual site is similar to the much more famous Sillustani but has almost no one visiting it. I went with a guide from Puno and we were the only people in the whole place. This allows you to do much more exploring. Similar to...More

This site it only 30mins bus ride outside of Puno and is awesome. Get a taxi to cematario laykakota and there will be busses waiting near by to go to Laraqueri. Ask a passerby or your taxi driver if you can't see them. Hop on...More

This is out of the main tourist circuit but you can get there in a private tour. As it is pretty close to Puno (about 20 min) it's cheap. I went there with my now fiancée and we were the only ones, besides the vizcachas....More
